Water Warriors is a free educational maths and literacy game for primary-age children, published at waterwarriors.it.com. We take children's privacy very seriously and limit what we collect to the minimum needed to run the game. This policy explains what we collect, how payments work, and how advertising and cookies are used on the site.
Payments are processed by Stripe (stripe.com/privacy). We never see or store card details. Stripe gives us only the email address and the fact that a payment succeeded.
To keep Water Warriors free to play, we may show advertising on the site. Advertising is not always enabled, and at times the site may be completely ad-free. When advertising is enabled, it may include ads served by Google AdSense and other third-party advertising partners, and the points below apply.

The game saves a small profile on your own device (in your browser's localStorage) so it remembers your name, colour, and any cosmetics you own. This stays on your device and is not sent to us. Stripe and Google Sign-In set their own cookies on their own pages, governed by their privacy policies.
When you play online, your display name, position in the maze, and game actions are sent to other players in the same room only. Class rooms are private to the access code the teacher reads out. Open rooms are public.
Schools that subscribe to the School plan can use progress tracking. On a school's own devices only, and only when a pupil's first name is set, the game records each question answered — the subject, topic, whether it was right or wrong, and the question text — so the school can see where a child needs help. This is standard formative-assessment data, and the school is the data controller. It is:
Free players and non-school devices are never tracked. A school can ask us to delete its data at any time by emailing waterwarriorsit@gmail.com.
We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the UK and EU equivalents. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for advertising or profiling. Any account email is provided by a parent or guardian at checkout, not by a child.
Email waterwarriorsit@gmail.com from the address tied to the account and we will delete the record within 7 days.
We may update this policy occasionally; the "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the new policy.
