Turn five minutes of maths practice into a whole-class multiplayer adventure.

Water Warriors is a browser game for primary classes. You open one code on the whiteboard, every child joins on whatever device is in front of them, and they answer maths or literacy questions to win. No installation, no logins, and no pupil accounts to manage.

The whole game is free to play. The school plan is optional and removes adverts on your classroom devices.

How a class game runs

  1. You host. Open the game, choose Host Game (Class), and the screen shows a short code and a QR code.
  2. They join. Children open the same site and type the code, or scan the QR code from the whiteboard. They appear as Player 1, Player 2, and so on.
  3. They practise. Everyone plays the same maze at the same time. Splashing a crate reveals a question, and answering it correctly earns coins and power-ups. A round lasts two minutes.

It works on school laptops, iPads, Chromebooks, and interactive whiteboards, in the browser. There is nothing to install and nothing for IT to approve beyond allowing the site. See For Teachers for the classroom detail.

What your class practises

Five subjects, each with its own question bank. You pick the subject before the round starts, so the game can match whatever you are teaching that day.

🔢 Maths

Number bonds, addition, subtraction, times tables, division, doubling and halving, fractions, place value, rounding, comparing, number patterns, money, time, shapes and word problems.

🔤 Literacy

Spelling, phonics and missing letters, grammar, plurals, past tense, capital letters, rhyming, synonyms, opposites and homophones.

🎨 Art

Colour, colour mixing, artists and art vocabulary.

💗 PSHE

Feelings, kindness, safety, health and growing up.

🌍 Topic

Animals, nature, seasons, science, space and geography.

Questions are pitched at primary level, covering KS1 and KS2. You choose the subject and the difficulty when you start the round, including a Chill Mode with no monsters for a calmer session.

What the teacher gets

Class progress reports

See how many questions each child answered, their accuracy, the topics they got wrong most often, and the actual questions they missed.

Anonymous by default

The report is keyed to a first name you type on the device. There are no accounts, no surnames, and no email addresses for children.

No adverts

On a school plan, every device you set up is advert-free, so the whiteboard stays focused on the lesson.

Unlimited pupils

One subscription covers your whole school. There is no per-pupil charge and no cap on how many children play.

Safety and privacy

Full detail is in our privacy notice, and there is a summary for your IT team in For Teachers.

The school plan

$20 per month, per school

Billed in US dollars, which is roughly £16 a month. Your bank converts at the rate on the day.

The game itself stays free. Every game mode, every question, and class hosting are all free without a subscription. The school plan removes adverts and adds the teacher reporting.

How to set it up

  1. Open the game and choose Subscribe, then For Schools.
  2. Enter your school name and email and subscribe. We email you one short school code.
  3. On each classroom device, open For Schools, choose Enter school code, and type it once. That device is then advert-free.
