A Free Maths Game for Kids

Water Warriors is a free maths game that runs in any web browser. Children race around a maze, splash cartoon monsters with water bombs, and answer quick maths questions to power up, so practice feels like play.

What children practise

The maths questions are short and mixed, so a few minutes of play gives a lot of practice:

How the game works

Each round is a maze. Players drop water bombs to splash cartoon monsters and clear crates. Question marks hidden in the maze ask a quick question, and a right answer gives a power-up such as extra speed, a triple spray or a shield. If a monster catches a player, they answer a question to get back into the game, so a mistake becomes a small learning moment instead of a game over.

There are four difficulty settings, from Chill (no monsters at all) to Hard, so younger children can play calmly and confident players still get a challenge.

Count the Drops

Count the Drops is a quick counting activity. Drops fall from the sky, children count them, then pick the answer from three choices. They see the right answer straight after each round, and the eight rounds get harder as they go.

For teachers: play as a whole class

A teacher can host a class game with one short code. Pupils type the code, or scan a QR code, and everyone plays together in a private room with no pupil accounts. With Count the Drops, the teacher's screen shows the class results live: how many pupils got each round right, and each player's score. See For Teachers and the school plan.
